THE VISION

Led by local Pensacola real estate developer, Chad Henderson, the East Garden District riffs with the existing businesses in the EGD and features new restaurants, retail, residences, and a boutique-style placemaking hotel. The EGD offers a promise of inimitable place-making, community growth, and the historic activation of a historic block with the distinct purpose of heightening and enhancing the City of Pensacola’s growth trajectory.

Did You Know?

Jefferson Street didn’t always continue north across Garden Street. It used to stop there. In 1982 Jefferson Street was extended to Chase Street, and the EGD is thankful that it did. Jefferson Street between Garden Street and Chase Street is the heart of the East Garden District project.
